A Little about our City of Haslet
The city of Haslet, TX is located on the west side of I-35W, north of downtown Fort Worth. The city reaches as far north as Eagle Parkway and as far south Bonds Ranch Rd. The eastern boundary is found along I-35W and the western boundary along Haslet County Line Rd.
Haslet, like many north Texas communities, has average humidity and high average wind speed. While it may be hot during the summer, you can be sure a cool breeze will float by soon.
The first residents of Haslet Texas came to the area around 1880 and continued to gather in this small town until it was officially incorporated as a city in 1961. Haslet has many great festivals around the year and several community groups to enjoy as well. The town of Haslet has three parks: John Gammill Park, Haslet Community Park, and Nance Field. The John Gammil Park has a wonderful playground , picnic tables, shade trees, and a pavilion. Haslet Community Park features an 18-hole disk golf course, sand volleyball court, basketball court, pavilion, walking trails, and a playground. Nance Field is a park dedicated to baseball and softball fields.
